Caching & rate limits

ETags, edge caching and per-plan request limits.

Read endpoints are cached at the edge for about 60 seconds and return an ETag. Send it back as If-None-Match to get a fast 304 Not Modified.

Each website has a per-minute limit set by its plan (default Free 600, Pro 6,000, Business 60,000). Cached answers don't count. Over the limit you get:

Retry-After: 23

Wait Retry-After seconds and try again. Cache responses on your side (for example Next.js revalidate) to stay far below the limit.
